Bengaluru-based RV University has recently inked MoUs with Old Dominion University, US; Teesside University, UK; and a Bengaluru-based tech start-up Ziroh Labs. This brings the total number of collaborations at RV University to 45.  

The partnership with Dominion University encompasses a wide range of offerings such as exchange programmes for faculty and students for educational purposes and joint research activities. The Teesside University MoU includes exchange of scholarly ideas and some developmental programmes. 

Industry-academia partnerships

In addition to the international collaborations, RV University and Bengaluru-based Ziroh Labs have also signed a pact for Academic Alliance Programmes to improve the quality of teaching and facilitate imparting practical skills to students from computer science and engineering background.

The students and faculty from the disciplines of business and finance, design and innovation, computer science and engineering, economics, liberal arts and science, will benefit from the international collaborations, a release from the institute, said. “It’s a great opportunity for RV University students and faculty to be associated with world-class institutions and gain exposure to global benchmarks and best practices in academia. The international partnerships are a win-win situation for the academic institutions through such knowledge-sharing partnerships,” said Prof YSR Murthy, Vice-Chancellor, RV University.
