Facebook reportedly allows advertisers to exclude users by ‘ethnic affinity’

A civil rights lawyer said the exclusionary advertising is “massively illegal”

According to a new report by ProPublica , social media giant Facebook allows advertisers to exclude users based on their ‘ethnic affinity’. Though the company claims that multicultural advertising should be a tool for empowerment and distances itself from accusations of discrimination, this isn’t the first such a report has surfaced.
