The Siddhis, an ethnic group of people with African origins, are proof that India is indeed a melting pot of cultures, religions, races and beliefs. The community originally came to India in 628 AD from South-East Africa and have now settled in concentrated areas in Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Hyderabad.
