It's tradition for US Presidents to spend on revamping the White House. It is, after all, an old building that requires quite a bit of upkeep even if no decorating is done. While past Presidents have used personal funds for the redecorating, past the allocated amount, the present President, Donald Trump seems to be using taxpayers' money for it.
