Armed with a mere $40 in his pocket, Mark Brown migrated from Jamaica to the US at the age of 18. Initially, he had a hard time communicating but he overcame that to such an extent, that he went on to defeat 20,000 other people to win the 1995 Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking.
Mark was in Chennai recently to attend Reverberation 2017, the semi-annual conference of District 82 of Toastmasters International. In this video, he says that all good managers are great communicators. Watch him talk about how we need to listen to be able to communicate more effectively, and give a few tips on being a better speaker.
