Amid lay-offs, the talent commerce platform helps connect those retrenched and other job-seekers with employers

Talent management marketplace SCIKEY recently launched the ‘Jobseeker-to-Jobsecure’ initiative, that aims to connect job-seekers with employers through its AI and MindMatch powered talent commerce platform. As the Covid-19 pandemic forces many employers to downsize their companies, pushing up unemployment rates to an all-time high, SCIKEY is offering the solution at zero cost to provide a stimulus to the economy.

Job-seekers can register and upload their profile through the Jobseekers tab on the SCIKEY talent commerce platform or even create a fresh digital resume, called Fresume, under the Services tab on the job seeker page. Employers can register on the platform and can find the “Outplace Candidates” tab on the dashboard menu. They can confidentially share the resumes of the impacted employees on SCIKEY. Employers can also list all their active jobs for new hiring. SCIKEY is also providing the talent commerce platform to employers, who can use it to search for candidates for free and get the benefit of using the end-to-end hiring automation suite.

Employers can help affected employees

The SCIKEY talent commerce platform is industry-agnostic to maximise the ability to match people with similar technical skills as well as softer human skills in one industry to other industries where the new jobs may be getting created. This approach helps the company shorten the complex and long cycle of evaluating and hiring the affected employees. The initiative provides real-time visibility into active jobs, hiring companies across locations and roles.

Karunjit Kumar Dhir, Co-founder, SCIKEY, said: “This is our way of fighting corona and saying that ‘We Care’. The coronavirus outbreak has put the world economy to a stand-still and resulted in high unemployment. However, some sectors like healthcare, pharmaceuticals & life-sciences, e-commerce, logistics, online groceries, agri-tech, other digital companies and the gig economy are still looking for additional staff to support the increased demand for their services.”

Algorithm-driven, free fitment resource

“These are extraordinarily tough times. There is no cost charged to either job-seekers or the hirers, and this initiative is a part of our larger social responsibility, said Shriram Vishwanathan, Co-Founder, SCIKEY. We have dedicated an exclusive section on our talent commerce platform that allows all employers who are forced to lay off employees to list the details of all such impacted staff so that we can help them match and connect with the other employers on our platform who are still hiring. This way, the employers can help their affected staff to make a transition to their next job without a loss of income as well as hope.”

Akshay Sharma Co-founder, SCIKEY said: “SCIKEY’s MindMatch algorithm also helps employers with the mindset and personality data of the candidates, and can hence help them assess the fitment basis the ‘human’ skills as well, apart from matching the hard skills; that opens possibilities for newer roles. It is our endeavour to help the maximum number of job-seekers find their next source of income.”
