The third edition of the BusinessLine On Campus ’ Boardroom Challenge for B-schoolers is under way. Semi-finals in Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai and Kochi are over, with the qualifiers in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad yet to take place.
The winners across the eight cities will compete to win the BusinessLine CXO of the Year title in Chennai on October 14.
At the semi-finals, teams had to come up with a sound game plan for a detergent maker to revive its revenue growth and profitibility. Students have termed the case 'very challenging' and that they 'had to read the case again and again' to understand it thoroughly and come up with a sound business strategy that addresses the different aspects of market dynamics, financial growth and corporate strategy.

Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgaon, IMI Kolkata, SIBM Pune, SPJIMR Mumbai, CUSAT Kochi, MOP Vaishnav College Chennai, St Joseph's Institute of Management Bangalore and ICBM Hyderabad hosted the regional semi-finals across the eight cities.
