The dangers of comparing leadership styles

Every argument has some merit so nothing should be overlooked

The fight between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for the White House takes on a newer and fiercer avatar every day. But according to an article in the Harvard Business Review , it’s nothing new. There have been leaders with opposing ideas throughout history and it’s not right to compare their styles, as they stand for different things, it says.

And at the same time, leaders also have similarities. In the case of the US Presidential Elections, the two candidates are waging war against a common enemy — terrorism and a feeling of helplessness. Each of their arguments have merit so comparing their leaderships styles might be dangerous.
