Anantha Nageswaran appointed Dean of IFMR GSB

He was the Chief Investment Officer of Bank Julius Baer from 2009 to 2011

V Anantha Nageswaran has been appointed Dean of IFMR Graduate School of Business at Krea University. Nageswaran has a doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and has taught extensively in India and Singapore since 2006. He was the Chief Investment Officer of Bank Julius Baer from 2009 to 2011 and has co-authored three books.

IFMR, under the leadership of Nageswaran, has laid out a roadmap to prepare future leaders to be capable of critical, abstractive, analytical, quantitative, integrative and ethical thinking. The institute has brought together the best minds in the industry to augment its faculty and recast its advisory board. The eminent individuals inducted into the advisory board include Rishikesha T Krishnan, Professor of Strategy at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and former Director of Indian Institute of Management, Indore; VG Narayanan, Thomas D Casserly, Jr Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School; Indira J Parikh, President of Antardisha; Chandru Rajam, founder & CEO of RichFeedback; Ajit Ranade, Executive President and Chief Economist of Aditya Birla Group; Ravi Kumar, Emeritus Professor at University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business; and Rangarajan K Sundaram, Dean of NYU Stern School of Business.
