Average CTC ₹12.61 lakh at IIM Amritsar placements

Highest domestic package offered was ₹40 lakh per year; Deloitte and Ernst & Young offered roles

IIM Amritsar recorded 100 per cent final placement for its MBA04 batch. The average CTC was 12.61 lakh per year. The highest domestic package was ₹40 lakh per year, marking a 90 per cent YoY increase. The average for top-quartile witnessed a 15.15 per cent hike as compared to last year, reaching ₹17.86 lakh a year from ₹15.51 lakh a year.

The institute, for the first time, witnessed a spike in advisory and consulting roles offered to the students from accounting firms such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young and KPMG.

Amazon, Grant Thornton, Bisleri and Aditya Birla Capital participated in the process for the first time, along with firms such as ICICI Lombard, Anand Rathi and Accenture returning for recruitment.

Summer placements

The highest stipend offered this year was ₹2.5 lakh. The overall average and the average stipend for the top 25 per cent of the batch stood at ₹62,572 and ₹1.35 lakh, respectively.

ICICI Lombard, Cipla, Landmark, L&T, Nielsen, CRISIL and GroupM offered several roles in business development, operations and analytics, supply chain, finance and market research.
