University of Cambridge's provider of English tests and certificates - Cambridge English Language Assessments - has launched an online/mobile app called the Cambridge English India Network. Additionally, to commemorate Teachers’ Day on September 5, a special competition for English teachers - ‘English in the Classroom’ - is being launched.
The app provides a platform for educators to connect with one another, view and share resources and essentially be a networking platform. The platform offers a managed network to enable seamless flow of information and becomes a repository of all the past communication and learning resources that can retrieved and reused with convenience. English teachers from schools as well as colleges are members of this networking app where they can connect with each other, share their ideas and opinions.
Cambridge English is also launching a competition for English teachers on September 5. The competition involves the teacher to develop an innovative and original classroom activity for any one of the four skills listening, reading, writing and speaking.
