Emeritus Institute of Management has launched a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business (PGDDB), which started on January 29. The content of the programme has been developed in collaboration with MIT Sloan Executive Education and Columbia Business School Executive Education.
The nine-month diploma is aimed at helping participants design strategies and evaluate business models that will help organisations grow in this thriving age of e-commerce and digitisation.
The programme is targeted at participants with three to more than years of experience, who have demonstrated leadership initiatives, have the ability to make things happen, a vision for the future, have multicultural experiences, sensitivity and an eagerness to learn and grow.
The course focuses on three core modules: Digital Strategies, Digital Transformation and Digital Marketing. These modules cover the quintessential requisites for digitisation:
· Five domains of digital transformation : Understanding the drivers that impact digital strategies.
· Digital business models : Executing digital transformation.
· The platform business model : Leading digital innovations.
· Digital marketing strategy : Driving customer engagement.
The programme features guest lectures by industry experts as well as 365 video lectures, 29 assignments, six case studies, 24 discussions, two simulations, one capstone project, and live online teaching sessions.
To help the participants with their career, the institute has empanelled a list of hiring partners that work across multiple sectors and industries in search for digital talent.
Additionally, upon successful completion of the programme, participants are offered access to the EMERITUS Network, a platform that connects participants with a global network of individuals. They can share their professional experiences and success stories, generate ideas, develop ventures, join discussions, participate in upcoming events and access global career opportunities.
Over 800 people have registered for the network, including CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, founders and managing directors from organisations across the world.
