Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman and Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Narayana Group of Hospitals, Bengaluru, is the Chairperson of Board of Governors, IIM Bangalore. He is selected for a second term of four years upon the recommendation of the search-cum-selection committee. Prof Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM-B, welcomed the appointment.

Prof Raji Srinivasan, Sam Barshop Centennial Professor of Marketing Administration, McCombs School of Business, University of Texas; Malavika Harita, Founder and CEO, Brand Circle; and Mukesh Bansal, CEO of Curefit and Founder of Meraki Labs, have also recently joined the IIM-B Board. The 15-member Board includes accomplished alumni of the institute, eminent persons from business, government and society, representatives of government, and faculty members, a release from the institute, said.
