IIM Indore’s Atharv 2018 comes to a close

Various events, including a fashion show, quiz, debate and EDM concert, were organised

Atharv 2018 — the Integrated Programme in Management’s (IPM) annual cultural, literary and management fest — was conducted successfully at IIM Indore recently.

The Vanity Fashion Show saw participants walk the ramp with poise and elegance. The contenders were evaluated by 2018 Femina Miss India second runner-up, Shreya Rao. Divyani Jain was crowned as Ms Atharv 2018 and Abhay Pratap Singh bagged the title of Mr Atharv. Pooja Singh and Sairab Malik won the title of Best Couple, while Mansi Rai and Nitin Pawar won the titles of Best Walk and Best Dressed respectively.

Halla Bol, the street play competition, was also held. Out of the 10 teams, six were shortlisted and they impressed the audiences with their bold social themes such as drug addiction, child abuse and the impacts of social media.

Delirium, the musical performance event, proved to be a success as many music enthusiasts participated and gave wonderful performances. Clash of Cults, a pop culture quiz, tested the knowledge of movie buffs and bookworms.

The consecutive rounds for management and literary events such as Avant Garde, E-Conjecture, Headhunter, and Game of Shadows were also held. Chaitanya, Inter-Varsity Debate, and Finopoly continued with their second rounds. The crowd let their hair down during EDM night and danced to their heart’s content as DJ Olly Esse took charge of the stage.
