IIM Lucknow has launched a two-year full-time residential programme, Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management – PGP SM. Admission to the programme will be based on CAT scores, followed by group discussion and a personal interview. The programme has 45 seats and will be conducted at IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus.
PGPSM will focus on topics including environmental, social and economic sustainability aspects; change management preparation; critical perspectives on policy and institutions; cross-sector collaborations; and systemic linkages among environmental, social and economic issues.
The programme will teach candidates to think in a holistic way about different sustainability challenges in the business environment. The PGP SM students would be equipped with management and leadership skills to solve problems of business performance coupled with social and environmental systems.
IIM Lucknow was the first IIM to establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Business Sustainability in 2011-12.
