IIM Shillong's Golf Cup flagged-off

Event to be attended by corporate leaders, bureaucrats, policy makers, and top academicians

Indian Institute of Management Shillong's flagship event the Golf Cup was officially launched by Mukul Sangma, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya on October 29.

The institute will host the opening day of the eighth season of two-day-long Golf Cup, on November 7 at the Shillong Golf Course, popularly known as the Gleneagles of the East. Shillong's golf course is one of the largest courses in Asia and enjoys the rare distinction of being one of the few natural golf courses in Asia.

The event has gone even bigger this year and will be attended by corporate leaders, bureaucrats, policy makers, and top academicians.

The initiative is a platform to engage corporates in a dialogue with the students.

In addition to Golf Cup, IIM Shillong is also organising a marathon.
