IIM Bangalore will host the 15th edition of its international annual business summit Vista 2015 between September 25 and 27. With the theme 'Indi-Genius' in the spirit of the 'Make in India' Campaign, the summit will celebrate all things local and home-brewed.
The fest has also associated with Ficci to host the Ficci Young Leaders Forum, which will see participation across start-ups and industries addressing youth on issues such as business and entrepreneurship.
The Young Leaders’ Summit — a workshop that introduces students to the domains of politics, business and Defence, will also be organised during the summit.
Biz plan contest
IIM-B's flagship B-Plan contest, Bzzwings, will also be held during Vista and the winner will take home funding and incubation offers from IIMB's NSRCEL. The summit will host a MUN (Model United Nations) as well, to identify the next generation of orators and policy-planners.
Vista 2015 aims to foster dialogue on how to make the development dream more inclusive. Events such as Vidheyak will challenge participants to evaluate the current state of public policy for MSMEs, while Sparsh will provide a live forum to brainstorm solutions to the challenges NGOs face on a day-to-day basis. The event Impetus will focus on social entrepreneurship and addresses issues faced by women in the workplace.
With up to ₹16 lakh to be won in over 40 events across all business domains, the summit is likely to host over 350 colleges and more than 8,000 business enthusiasts from across the country this year.
