IIM-Calcutta, in partnership with hospital chain Glocal Healthcare Systems Pvt Ltd, has launched an executive management programme in healthcare.
The one-year course interweaves three months of classroom sessions at IIM-C, moves on to 6 months of field-based learning at Glocal hospitals, of which a month will be with an overseas tertiary care hospital, and a three-month final session back at IIM-C.
The programme subjects range from healthcare regulations, law & ethics, to sales and marketing, supply chain operations, healthcare technology and infrastructure management. The inaugural batch in 2015 -16 will have 31 students.
