MICA launches programme for professionals in Dubai

The institute inked an MoU with Dubai’s Anisuma Training Institute — 14 classes will be held in Dubai

MICA — The School of Ideas, will offer an executive programme for professionals in Dubai. MICA Ahmedabad has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Anisuma Training Institute, Dubai. Starting October this year, the programme, titled ‘Strategic Marketing and Communication Management’, will be offered twice a year for three years.

The programme is aimed at professionals who have recently taken on a marketing role, or aspire to a career in marketing, and wish to gain deeper understanding of the domain. It will also cater to product managers, service managers, marketing managers and brand managers.

Preeti Shroff, Dean, MICA, said, “MICA is positioning for global programme strategy and partnerships in Dubai and the UAE region. MICA will collaborate with Anisuma Institute to offer executive and management development programmes in digital and strategic marketing.”

Global marketing

The programme will help participants gain knowledge of different disciplines of marketing including consumer insights, data analytics, create action plans to drive practical changes in the organisation, and develop sensitivity to cross-functional and cross-industry issues in global marketing.

The 21-day programme will be delivered over eight months, with 14 days in Dubai and six days at the MICA campus.

After completion of the programme, the participants will be awarded a certificate and will be eligible for executive alumni status of the institute.

As part of the same, Prof Shroff and Prof Anita Basalingappa hosted an event in Dubai to engage with industry leaders and executives to present the upcoming programme.
