Nitte management school celebrates graduation day

Vishal Hegde, Trustee of Nitte Education Trust and the Pro-Chancellor (administration) of Nitte (deemed to be university), is seen speaking at the graduation day ceremony of the Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district. 

The Nitte-based Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management (JKSHIM) organised the graduation day ceremony for the 23rd batch (2020-22) of MBA graduates at Nitte in Udupi district recently.

Vasudev Kamath, Vice-President and Head of Mangaluru Centre of Infosys, who delivered the graduation day address, said it is essential for the leaders to equip themselves with many kinds of skills to face challenges during uncertain times, and he stressed the need for continuous upskilling.

He also said that one must accept failures in the same way success is celebrated. The graduation day ceremony was presided over by Vishal Hegde, Trustee of Nitte Education Trust and the Pro-Chancellor (administration) of Nitte (deemed to be university).

He called upon the MBA graduates to work hard to achieve sustained success with a sense of commitment and discipline. There is no shortcut to success, he said. Naresh Sreedhar Gummani emerged as the academic topper with a CGPA of 8.45. He was honoured with a gold medal and a citation by Vishal Hegde on the occasion.

Apoorva Punja was adjudged as the best outgoing student. She was honoured with a gold medal and a citation. The Director of JKSHIM, K Sankaran, who delivered welcome address, also administered the oath to the MBA graduates on the occasion.
