‘Reflect and learn from your observations’

At convocation, Sreekanth Arimanithaya urged WeSchool students to always learn persistently

The convocation ceremony of SP Mandali’s Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai was a lively event with students and parents cherishing each moment. Students of Masters in Management Studies (MMS) and those who pursued three-year part-time master’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance, had graduated.

Sharing some life lessons from his professional journey, Chief Guest Sreekanth Arimanithaya, Senior VP Integrated Workforce Management and India Co-Managing Director, DXC Technology India, said, “Life is full of concrete experiences. We must reflect and learn from our observations. Learning is a continuous process and doesn’t finish in one day. Hence, learn persistently. Lastly, as humble individuals, never forget where you come from. Always express gratitude towards family, the main source of energy; teachers and professors, who have helped you in every part of your life.”

Emphasising on the technological changes in the fast-paced world, Advocate SK Jain, Chairman, Managing Council, SP Mandali and Local Managing Committee, WeSchool, said, “Technology is playing a vital role across businesses. Its rising role suggests that change is inevitable. As young and growing professionals, keep relearning as you transform to another level in your careers. I wish all students the best in your future endeavours as you begin your new innings in professional life.”

Highlighting the role of global leaders, Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director of WeSchool, said, “In today’s well-connected world, which is evolving with global disruptions, it is important to become an agile learner and execute ideas into actions. Therefore, I urge all to never settle for the goal you have achieved today. May sky be the limit for all your future projects.”
