Because of pandemic Covid-19, RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, has decided to make its admission process to its built environment courses virtual to avoid human contact, the institute said. It announced several online and virtual methodologies to facilitate both the pre- and post-admission processes to ensure safety of prospective students, parents and its staff.
Ashwani Awasthi, Managing Director, RICS SBE, said: “The current situation requires us to consider and implement all possibilities to ensure the safety of students, their parents and our staff. So, in order to ease out the campus application process, RICS School of Built Environment has taken a complete online initiative, will organise virtual interviews, meetings with faculties and virtual campus tours.”
RICS SBE has categorised various sub-processes of admission procedure and is implementing online solutions for each step:
Webinar — If you wish to know more about the programmes and have related concerns & queries, you can join special Webinars.
Skype — The candidates looking to connect with existing students to know about experiences at RICS SBE experiences can connect on Skype.
Virtual tours — Students can take the virtual tour of the campus.
e-applications — Students can easily complete all application formalities online.
Virtual interview — The applicants can select a date for a virtual interview and attend online interview with the management panel.
Online result and fee payment — The results will be announced online, and the fees payment and other admission formalities can be completed online.
Virtual meetings — For interactions, the Deans, MD and the director of placements shall be available for virtual meetings.
The institute offers four courses — MBA in Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure, MBA in Construction Project Management, MBA in Construction Economics and Quantity Surveying, and Post Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management — in its campuses in Noida and Mumbai.
