Stanford School of Business launches on-demand online courses

The online subscription model gives exclusive access to live-content taught by over 30 Stanford faculty

Stanford Graduate School of Business has announced on-demand online courses on Executive Education to help learners experience same-day access to research-based content on the topics relevant to their business challenges and context, bridge theory with practice, and make a real-time impact in their organisations.

Designed by an approach ‘learn and apply’ featuring Stanford’s world-renowned tenured faculty, the portfolio of on-demand course offerings includes:

  • Discover the paths of power: Learn how to diagnose and react to organisational dynamics, build power, and increase your influence to amplify your impact.
  • Disrupt your business: Learn to identify the difference between disruption and an incremental change or a fad. Gain the tools to drive disruption and defend your space.
  • Leverage diversity and inclusion for organisational excellence: Inclusion stimulates productivity and growth. Learn to recognise and remove barriers to design a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace.
  • Sharpen your communication skills: Communication is key to compelling leadership. Learn effective communication practices that elevates your impact.

Flexible delivery mode

Sarah Soule, The Morgridge Professor of Organisational Behavior and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Stanford Graduate School of Business said, “Each of the courses on Stanford Graduate School of Business on-demand courses portfolio on Executive Education provides an engaging and flexible learning experience for highly motivated and engaged professionals and leaders. It enables them to embody a growth mindset and seek to develop and advance themselves, their teams, and their organisations.”

Learners can select and register for the on-demand course that speaks to their learning goals and launch their journey with same-day access to the courses with a total commitment of eight to ten hours, inclusive of content, coursework, and activities. Participants will have 60 days to complete the course and can engage at their own pace and convenience. Participants will receive personalised written feedback on select assignments to support their understanding and application of frameworks.

Redesigned offerings

After the successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion to post on their LinkedIn profile pages and can download for their records.

Stanford GSB’s on-demand online courses is one of several new or redesigned offerings in Executive Education. For the first time this summer, the school launched the Stanford Business Leadership Series, which is an online subscription that includes exclusive access to live content taught by over 30 Stanford GSB faculty members. The second series launched earlier this month, with new modules: Leading in the COVID-19 Era: Newest Lessons Learned, Leading Diversity and Inclusion, Leading Strategy from Development to Execution, Leading Transformation: 5 Megatrends Every Leader Needs to Know, and Leading with Purpose.
