Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) conducted cluster 2 of the final placement process for the PGP batch of 2022 recently. The second cluster saw six cohorts — advertising and media, conglomerates, consumer goods and durables, consumer services, pharma and healthcare, and retail B2B & B2C.

However, from the conglomerates’ cohort, Tata Administrative Services (TAS) made the highest number of domestic offers, while Emaar made the highest number of international offers. Among other conglomerates were regular recruiters like Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group and CK Birla Group.

Virtual process

The consumer goods and durables and consumer services cohorts saw regular recruiters such as Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt, The Coca-Cola Company and Wipro Consumer Care. Firms from the consumer goods and durables cohort extended the highest number of offers, closely followed by conglomerates, a press release from the institute, said.

Among the other cohorts were firms such as Amazon, Disney-Star, Myntra, Nykaa, PharmEasy, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd, among others. Earlier, cluster 1 of the final placement process was held on February 8. The third cluster is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2022.

Notably, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the placement process is being conducted virtually this year.
