Merriam-Webster's word of the year for 2017 will give you hope

It's that time of the year again!

Every year, around this time, online dictionaries choose the Word of the Year. While Dictionary.com named 'complicit' as the word of the year, Merriam-Webster chose 'feminism', which, it says, has seen an increase in the number of times it is looked up.

Peter Sokolowski, the company's editor-at-large, said searches for the term 'feminism' on the dictionary's site increased 70 per cent in 2017 compared to the previous year. Check-out this Mashablearticle for further details.
