Apple threw up an ‘oh-my-god’ statistic at its Worldwide Developers Conference, held earlier this month in San Francisco. Mashable reported that the CEO of the tech giant gleefully announced their app store download number — a staggering 100 billion! “It’s hard to believe that the App Store was launched only seven years ago,” he said, adding, “I’m happy to announce that the App Store recently passed a major milestone: The app store has passed 100 billion apps downloaded.”
119 apps downloaded on an average
An Apple user, on an average, has 119 apps! The company also revealed that it paid more than $30 billion to app design developers.
To celebrate, the company then showcased a video that had Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom and film director JJ Abrams emphasising on the importance of the App store.
