'Job-wise, healthcare is the next big sector'

If T Muralidharan, Chairman of TMI Group, sure of one thing, it's that banking and healthcare are sectors that MBA students should be looking at. But they're not. “The number of hospitals and nursing homes coming up is much more than what specialised ‘doctor MBA’ can do. I would pitch for students to work in the administration or management of students,” says the 60-year-old, who is an alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad. His company, the TMI Group, is one of the top recruiting firms in India.
