After Twitter, Google and Pinterest, the newest social networking site to jump the ‘buy button’ bandwagon is Facebook.
The website confirmed to Mashable that they’re currently testing the option among, “A small number of users and a handful of retail and e-commerce companies.”

This feature will enable retailers to turn their official Facebook pages into stores, outside their own website. The “shopping” section will reportedly appear in the same tab space where the Timeline, About, Photos and other sections are located.
Facebook spokesperson Mike Manning said, “It’s too early to offer a timeline for when it will expand more broadly to include more retailers or be surfaced to more users.” He refused to comment on the retailers who’ll be currently taking part in the beta test.
