Stress can affect your work performance negatively

The problem with stress is that, for many people, it means worrying for days on an end. In a lot of cases, it ends up affecting health and thus performance at work too.

Stress cannot be avoided; most times it is even a good thing which motivates you to get your work done on time and at the best of your ability. That said it can also be harmful. Every person has their own way of coping with stress. Mashable published a list of things that successful personalities said they did to cope with stress which included taking some time out for yourself and taking a few breaks in between working long hours when trying to achieve a short deadline.
