Faking 80-hour work-weeks

Some men may actually be faking working

So, you thought it was a macho thing, for men to work 80 or 90-hour weeks. And, they got the best performance appraisals and the raises. But, an article in The New York Times says that some of them may actually be faking working those long hours.

According to the NYT article, some people fully embraced the culture of long working hours, and they tended to be top performers. Others openly pushed back against it, insisting upon lighter and more flexible work hours, or less travel; they were punished in their performance reviews. Click this to read the whole article
