Say selfie stick and we bet most of you roll your eyes at the very mention. But imagine if there was one such stick, that could actually be put to good use. Intrigued?
Well, according to a report on TechCrunch, a new stick called Solocam is a selfie stick attached to a “high- definition bluetooth microphone, just like the pros use”, according to the site. It might come as great relief for on-field journalists and other video shooters, who don’t need to lug around chunky cameras.
The website mentions that the quality of the video is ‘surprisingly professional’. The device apparently comes with an app for your mobile, which lets you record, while using features such as teleprompter.
Cost
The most basic version will be sold for $50, which the highest pro quality, for $149. Solocam is available for pre-order now via an Indiegogo campaign.
