NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has discovered deposits of glass on Mars, and it could be the key to understand life on Mars, according to Discovery.com
Glass itself is not an indicator of life but is capable of preserving the biosignatures. Last year, researchers discovered a sign of life entombed in glass that was millions of years old.
The Discovery.com report said, the glass found in Mars could also hold important biosignatures of ancient Martian life.
