Grooveshark co-founder dead at 28

No evidence of foul play or suicide, said local police

Recently defunct music streaming website Grooveshark’s co-founder Josh Greenberg was found dead in his Florida home, according to an article by BBC News. He was 28 years old.

Greenberg's mother Lori told a local newspaper that her son had been in good spirits.

"He was excited about potential new things that he was going to start," Mrs Greenberg said, adding that she did not believe he had any health concerns.

Grooveshark closed in April this year following years of legal action from several record labels. A US court had determined that Groovershark could be liable for $736 million in damages after it was judged to have wilfully breached copyright when building the service's music library.
