Millionaires think they are middle class, says CNBC poll

Most millionaires in the US today seem to be in wealth denial. According to the results of the CNBC Millionaire Survey, despite being among the wealthiest 10 per cent of Americans, 84 per cent of millionaires describe themselves as either middle class or upper middle class. Wealth experts say the findings stem partly from the psychology of today's wealthy and partly from the growing economic divide between the super rich and the merely wealthy.
