The choice of Peter Todd as head of HEC was decided after an exhaustive selection process. The selection committee, under the leadership of Etienne Guyot, General Director of the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, worked from January to June 2015, to independently study more than 20 candidates.

Seven finalists advanced to the last stage and underwent an intensive interview process about their experience and strategic plans for HEC. The final decision was taken by the President of the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, Pierre-Antoine Gailly, after consulting with Bernard Ramanantsoa.

Who is Todd?

For more than 25 years, Todd, a renowned researcher and professor in the fields of innovation management and information technologies, has gained significant experience in managing degree programs (specifically MBA) and Executive Education programs.

With a PhD from the University of British Columbia, Todd was first a professor at Queens School of Business (Ontario), and then at the University of Houston (Texas).

“It will be Peter Todd’s mission to confirm and increase HEC’s remarkable development in recent years. Continuation of academic excellence, internationalisation, the improvement of performance in research and, in connection with the HEC Foundation and Alumni Association, boosting fundraising” — this is the roadmap entrusted to the new Dean of HEC.
