Turns out, there are things that Chicken Soup and Dr. Phil say that aren't exactly true. Tackling Self-Help myths that aren't exactly true, this article rubbishes some of the most common self help advice given. For one, venting may not be a good idea if you tend to stay in touch with the person you're angry at. According to studies, rather than getting all your frustration out there, you might end up making things worse. Same goes for thinking happy thoughts, or sending out positive vibrations.
