Swedish airport lets you 'feel' the weather at your destination

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is using climate pods to promote its connectivity

According to a Mashable report, a Swedish airport has built three pods which simulate different climatic conditions present around the world in real time. The 'Climate Portal' uses devices such as audiovisual cues and wind simulators to create a combination of temperature for replicating weather conditions, the report says.

The simulators used are connected with cloud based weather data and give people inside the pods a real time experience of the weather in the location they choose.

The three Climate Portals are labelled ‘Go Hot’, ‘Go Cold’ and ‘Go Big’, according to Mashable. The first one simulates deserts, the next creates harsh winters, and the last one simulates weather in world's major cities, says the report.
