University of Delaware expands its student market

University of Delaware

Partners with John Wiley & Sons to deliver good online learning experiences

University of Delaware has partnered with John Wiley & Sons to extend its graduate education to new student markets. The partnership will help grow the current online Master of Education in Teacher Leadership programme, and bring the current Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Master of Science in Cybersecurity degrees, fully online.

The programmes will enable online students to receive the same educational resources, faculty teaching, and learning outcomes as their on-campus counterparts.

Resources and expertise

Wiley will provide market research and marketing, enrolment and retention, instructional design, online course delivery, and assessment services to the university, under the partnership. The services will allow the University of Delaware to attract and support new students.

“We will benefit from Wiley’s resources and market research expertise. They will help us determine which programme opportunities best align with our strengths, so we can plan for the future,” said Jim Richards, Vice Provost, University of Delaware. “Their main focus is supporting students throughout their lifecycle, and we believe they will work closely with our faculty to deliver the best online learning experiences.”
