Windows 10 update to see debut of Microsoft's new internet browser

Microsoft reveals details on the software upgrade, to be available for free to all systems with Windows 7 and 8.1

The Windows 10 operating system upgrade finally has a release date, and if industry pundits and initial information are anything to go by, it’s only going to be smaller updates including the return of Microsoft’s trademark ‘start’ menu, a feature whose absence in the Windows 8 update was much discussed.

Looking to rectify the missteps of Windows 8 OS, Windows 10 will also have a brand new internet browser with Microsoft having retired their veteran browser Internet Explorer earlier this year. Another update would be Continuum which, like what Apple has, allows users to seamlessly shift between devices, be it a tablet, PC or smartphone.

At the core of it all, Windows 10 looks to fix every wrong Microsoft did with Windows 8 and reel back in all the users they lost because of it. Click here to read more
