Wolverhampton varsity to name B-school building after Lord Paul

The six-storey facility will cost about £18 million

University of Wolverhampton will be naming its Business School's new building after its Chancellor Lord Swraj Paul in October.

The six-storey facility will cost about £18 million to the university, and will provide teaching and social learning space for students.

Paul has been Chancellor of the university since 1999. He is also leading, as chairman of the Caparo Group, a UK-based company that has operations in Asia, Europe, and North America.

The building will provide various opportunities in business education on all levels from undergraduate right through to working directly with professionals on their own development, said the Vice Chancellor, Geoff Layer, according to the report.

The new building will have an executive education suite, and IT suite, innovative learning and teaching spaces, consulting rooms, and a cafe.
