Aditya Birla Education Academy, a professional development institute for teachers, announces admissions for its new batch of Advanced Certificate Course in Developing Teaching Competencies (ACCDTC). This virtual certificate course aims to equip pre-service and in-service teachers with national and international pedagogical practices. The four-month certificate course will begin on August 21, 2021.
The Advanced Certificate Course has been specially designed for students in their final year of BEd / MEd / DEd / ECCEd. The course will offer in-service teachers with the right tools to keep up with the current international trends and diverse channels of curriculum design and delivery.

Objectives
During the four-month long certificate programme, the candidates will be trained to integrate models and principles of curriculum design into classroom teaching, develop instructional designs and e-content plans, and demonstrate the application of evaluation techniques for achieving the learning outcomes.
They will also learn to promote and exercise social and emotional competencies in their classrooms, blend technological learning and skills to enhance classroom teaching, and understand the implications of international standards to benchmark teaching-learning. The course will further deep dive into demonstrating the utilisation of multi and inter-disciplinary approaches to enrich teaching, appreciate teachers’ personal and professional etiquettes, understand the local, national, and international policies.
