IIM Kozhikode recently concluded its 17th annual management conclave, Horizon 2017 on the theme, ‘Turning points in life’. The conclave witnessed eminent speakers sharing their experiences with the management students.
The event included seminars, talks and competitions hosted by the Industry Interaction Cell of IIM-K. There were exchange of ideas and thoughts from people in the domain of entertainment, civil services, literature and so on.
The conclave saw noted personalities like Atul Karwal, IG, CRPF of Jammu and Kashmir, Mukesh Chhabra, casting director, Savi Sharma, author, Mathew Oommen, President, Reliance Jio, and Harrish Sairaman, motivational speaker, share their experiences to inspire students to make a difference.
During his keynote address, Mathew Oommen explained the digital revolution and said, “With our Prime Minister’s bold initiative to drive demonetisation, along with an ambitious digital initiative, Jio has taken it on itself to be the highway and streetway to reach 90 per cent of the population with broadband — transcending demographics.” Atul Karwal shared his experience of scaling Mt Everest.
The conclave witnessed exchange of ideas through provoking conversations and an intellectually stimulated environment.
