Arizona State University is in India to meet future students

Close to 600 students from Chennai have applied for graduate programmes at ASU

After a successful student recruitment drive earlier this year, top faculty of the Fulton Schools of Engineering will be visiting India for a student recruitment drive between November 4-12. They will be accompanied by the top faculty of the WP Carey Business School as well, who will be participating in the drive, to meet personally potential students who are interested in masters degrees in the fields of business, management and entrepreneurship.

During this recruitment drive, the senior faculty of the two schools will look to interact with future masters students who have applied to the university, as well as welcome all potential students to Arizona State University by walking them through the courses and extra-curricular activities available and fielding questions they may have on the same.

Large network

ASU offers students the opportunity to enjoy over 45 engineering student organisations and student professional societies giving them leadership opportunities and hands-on experience. It also has a thriving entrepreneurship programme where enrolled students can start with original research, pitch business ideas and start companies as undergraduates and post baccalaureate students.

The WP Carey School of Business is one of the largest business schools in the United States, with over 250 faculty, and more than 1,000 graduate and 10,000 undergraduate students. As of April 2017, statistics indicate that over 1,000 students from India are part of the WP Carey alumni network, second only to China, in the Asian subcontinent. The school also boasts of over 1,000 companies recruiting business students on campus and/or posting full-time jobs or internships for the business school students. Additionally, 16 of WP Carey programmes and disciplines are ranked Top 40 by US News & World Report.

The Fulton Schools of Engineering is one of the largest engineering schools in the US, with over 300 faculty members, and a community of over 20,000 engineering students from 121 countries. The school’s alumni network is over 50,000 members strong worldwide.
