Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM) Group, India’s only B-school to offer a curriculum integrated with the online courses of Harvard Business School, announced new, two-year full-time PGDM courses in business analytics and big data, international finance, logistics management and enterprise management, integrated with IBM, US CPA, Safeducate and SAP respectively. These companies help in designing the course structure and their executives are visiting faculty who guide the students, thus, ensuring that full industry integration is delivered.
Based in Pune, ASM’S Institute of International Business and Research (IIBR), is approved by AICTE and is designed according to current industry requirements. It is promoted by Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA).
Dr Sandeep Pachpande, Chairman, ASM Group, said, “Despite analytics and data science job openings in India exceeding a lakh, there is a dearth of specialised, industry-ready talent to fulfil this growing demand.”
Meeting the demand
“With Indian companies looking to expand, the demand for talent in international finance will also grow. Besides, as India becomes one of the top five revenue generating markets for foreign companies’ enterprise business, job opportunities will only increase,” he said.
“Young professionals need in-depth specialised programmes, with global outlook in all the above areas of high growth and potential. However, currently, the available options are short-term certifications, which are inadequate. Hence, we decided to launch these courses to help aspiring young professionals break into these high growth areas,” Dr Pachpande said.
