While the first three editions of the Challenge saw the semi-finals being staged in B-schools across eight cities around the country, with the grand finale in Chennai, this year, due to the Covid-19 situation, both the semi-finals and the finals are being held entirely online.

In 2017, the first year of the challenge, LIBA, Chennai, were the winners, followed by ISB Hyderabad in 2018 and IIM Ranchi in 2019. The 2019 contest was held across eight cities with participation from all the top B-schools. In the semi-final round, the marketing and financial knowledge of the students is tested during the case presentation.

The preliminary round in all the previous years has been online, where students are administered a psychometric test to assess their decision-making skills and ability to work in teams. The grand finale, where B-schools which won city-specific semi-finals competed for the grand prize, has always been in Chennai, with keen minds from top B-schools presenting to eminent juries from the corporate sector.

This year, keeping in mind the safety of the students and others involved in this contest, it is being conducted entirely online. It promises to be a unique event with technology overcoming the challenge the pandemic has brought about.

Like last year, the 2020 edition of the contest too is sponsored by Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. This year, it is additionally powered by HCCB while Casa Grande is an associate sponsor. The knowledge partners are Brand Vectors and Potential Genesis.
