BP and Cambridge launch Claire Hall India Innovation Masters Programme

The programme will accept up to two students per year

University of Cambridge's Clare Hall, and oil and gas firm BP have joined hands to launch the 'Clare Hall India Innovation Masters Programme' to support graduate students from India who want to develop an academic career in the energy sector.

The programme will enable students to study for a Master’s degree in any of the STEM subjects related to the energy sector for up to one year at the University of Cambridge.

This programme is hosted at Clare Hall, a College of Advanced Studies, within the University of Cambridge. In addition to its graduate students, it has a flourishing programme of Visiting Fellows, with academics from all over the world coming to live and work in Cambridge.

The new programme aims to encourage applications from candidates from India who will follow a career in academia, industry or government, with an emphasis on future leadership.

The programme will accept up to two students per year, with up to £30,000 of funding each. A wide range of courses are available on the programme, and application is through Cambridge University. Full details on the application process and a list of courses will be available on the Clare Hall website from December 7.
