MBAUniverse.com, with which BusinessLine has tied up, has since 2010 been publishing B-school rankings that are widely recognised as the most credible and ‘toughest’ MBA rankings.
Shekhar Chaudhuri, Professor, Strategic Management Group as well as former Director, IIM Calcutta and former professor, IIM Ahmedabad, is Honorary Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Ranking 2016. The other members are TV Rao, former professor, IIM-A, and Member of the Board of Governors and Chairman, TVRLS, and Mr S Sivakumar, Group Head-Agri & IT Businesses, ITC.
The Executive Committee members are RK Shukla, Former Director, NCAER Centre for Macro Consumer Research; Mukund Padmanabhan, Editor, The Hindu Business Line , and Amit Agnihotri, Founder, MBAUniverse.com. RK Shukla and the research team at ICE360, a not-for-profit research think-tank, will conduct the data analysis.
Prof Chaudhuri in a statement said: “The Hindu BusinessLine and MBAUniverse.com have teamed up to prepare the B-School Ranking 2016 with the objective of guiding prospective MBA students in selecting the most appropriate institution to study in. The Advisory Committee comprising Dr TV Rao, a renowned academic in the area of OB and HRD and a former professor at IIM Ahmedabad, S Sivakumar, Group Head, ITC, and myself as Chairman, has helped fine-tune the survey approach and design. We are hopeful that the HBL-MBAUniverse.com B-School Ranking 2016 will be helpful to MBA aspirants.”
