The online learning platform, EdX has recently tied up with an education technology company Fullbridge to offer an XSeries Programme - ‘Career Edge: The Path to Career Success’, geared toward mid-career shifters and recent college graduates.
The XSeries Programme will help professionals develop a marketable personal brand and the core soft and hard skills that employers look for in the recruiting process. These skills include effective communication, teamwork, business analysis, problem solving and design thinking.
These open online courses will give learners and professionals the business fundamentals needed to improve their lives, while allowing them to work at their own pace and on their own schedule.
The XSeries Programmes will be available in the five self-paced modules: Design Your Career (November 9); Communication and Teamwork (December 15); Business Analysis and Data Analytics (January 12); Analytical Problem Solving and Design Thinking (February 9); and Resume, Networking and Interview Skills (March 8).
The courses can be taken individually or as part of the XSeries Programme.
