Faculty of Management Studies to hold Hult Prize event on Nov 25

Team of business students that comes up with the most innovative ideas will get $1 million funding

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, will hold the 8th edition of the Hult Prize competition at its New Delhi campus on November 25. The theme this year is ‘Transform: Harnessing the Power of Energy to transform the lives of 10 million people’.

The annual Hult Prize awards $1 million in funding to the team of business students that comes up with the most innovative and radical ideas to build energy-driven technologies to make the world a better place to live in. BusinessLine on Campus is the digital media partner for the event.

The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student competition, started in 2009 in partnership with former US President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, which has brought students together from across the globe to solve some of the world’s most pressing issues. This year, the Hult Prize challenges participants to build a scalable, sustainable social enterprise that harnesses the power of energy to transform the lives of 10 million people by 2025.

Details about Participation

Students interested in participating need to register as a team of three to four members on the Hult Prize FMS website on this link . The winning team will be awarded $1 million as seed capital to develop their entrepreneurial idea. No prior experience is needed to participate in the event.
