Finance and Economics conference at IBS Mumbai

The conference will be held on April 7 and 8

IBS Mumbai will be hosting an international conference on finance and economics on April 7 and 8 on “Innovation, Disruption and Transformation in Financial Markets”. “The conference aims to explore debate and discuss the fast-paced changes in the financial sector through research, presentations and views of industry experts on the current milieu of innovation, disruption and transformation,” said Prof YK Bhushan, Senior Advisor and Campus Head, IBS Mumbai.

Lakshman Watawala, President ICPM, Sri Lanka and President, AMDISA, will be the chief guest . JD Agarwal, Director, Indian Institute of Finance, New Delhi and Dharmakirti Joshi, Chief Economist, CRISIL will deliver the keynote address.

On the second day of the conference experts from areas of banking, finance and technology will participate in the panel discussion chaired by Prof. YK Bhushan. JN Misra, CEO, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) will deliver the valedictory address.

The conference looks to address issues the finance industry faces today. The themes of the conference include Financial Markets and Services, Accounting and Corporate Finance, Regulatory Framework and Compliance, Financial Inclusion and Banking and Insurance. The conference has solicited papers from eminent experts from the financial sector at both national and international level.
